The late, great American singer-songwriter, guitarist and actor Hoyt Axton is the "focus beam" artist on this new Boppin' With Beth! You'll hear about his story and a couple of great tunes from his catalog. The late, great J.P. "The Big Bopper" Richardson is the "focus beam" artist on the new Boppin' With Beth. Hear about his DJ career, music career and tragic death on the Winter Dance Party tour along with his fellow tourmates Buddy Holly & Ritchie Valens. In addition to a couple of tunes of his from his too brief career, there's tracks by influences and peers including Hank Williams & His Drifting Cowboys, Bill Haley & His Comets, Ike Turner's Kings Of Rhythm, Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and Dion & The Belmonts.
