Legendary American rock band The Trashmen are the "focus beam" artist on this new episode of Boppin' With Beth. Hear about their early band, history and legacy (including talking with guitarist Tony Andreason about the 60th anniversary of "Surfin' Bird) as well as a couple of rockers from their discography and a tune with Deke Dickerson. There's tunes from artists they loved listening to including Dick Dale, Jerry Lee Lewis, The Ventures (classic lineup), Buddy Holly & The Crickets, Homer & Jethro, Jimmy Reed and Larry Lapole & The Polecats.
