Billy Squier "Focus Beam" on Boppin' With Beth 05-17-24

 


American musician, singer and songwriter Billy Squier is the "focus beam" artist on this new episode of Boppin' With Beth. Hear about his career including early bands and his solo career through today. There's a couple of rockin' tunes from his discography as well as one from his early band Piper. There's songs from some of his influences including The Rolling Stones, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, The Who, Queen, Fleetwood Mac, Led Zeppelin and The Beatles! Glen Burtnik "Focus Beam" on Boppin' With Beth 02-16-24

 


American singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Glen Burtnik is the "focus beam" artist on this week's Boppin' With Beth! Hear about his career with solo releases and band's he's been in (Styx, The Weeklings, Helmet Boy, etc.) as well as a couple of great tunes from his catalog. There's songs from some of his influences and peers including The Young Rascals, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Edgar Winter, Bruce Springsteen, Marshall Crenshaw and The Anderson Council. There's a track from Styx featuring Glen on lead vocals too. Beth's Bop of the Week is from the new album on Jem Records by The Weeklings.
