We take a trip to the record shop and select John Mellencamp's 1985 album, Scarecrow (known then as "John Cougar Mellencamp")! Rockford, IL's most famous sons, Cheap Trick, is our "focus beam" band this week! We'll hear from some of their influences including The Beatles, Raspberries, Big Star, The Who, The Beach Boys, Sex Pistols, The Kinks and Dwight Twilley Band. Of course, we'll dig into their great career and spin a couple of great rockers from their catalog. Jammin' James Riley has a Carl Perkins classic in Rockabilly Rewind and we play the new duet with John Mellencamp and Bruce Springsteen!
