Slim Jim Phantom "Focus Beam" on Boppin' With Beth 09-02-22

Slim Jim Phantom from the legendary rockabilly trio Stray Cats is the "focus beam" artist on the new Boppin' With Beth. We'll hear about his story and he's the guest on a fun new edition of Beth's Lightning Round as well. In addition to a couple of Stray Cats tunes, there's some cuts from some of his influences including Gene Vincent & His Blue Caps, Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins and The Beatles along with projects he played on by Kat Men, The Head Cat and a Beatles cover he did with his wife, Jennie Vee. Jammin' James Riley has a deep track by Don Woody in Rockabilly Rewind and there's tunes by Eagles Of Death Metal, Ringo Starr and The Courettes (a song about their love of Ringo)!
