Roger Joseph Manning, Jr. "Focus Beam" on Boppin' With Beth 05-24-24

 


American keyboardist, producer, singer and songwriter Roger Joseph Manning, Jr. is the "focus beam" artist on this week's Boppin' With Beth! Hear about his career (both in bands and solo) as well as a couple of great solo tunes from his discography. There's also tracks from some of his bands including Jellyfish, Imperial Drag and when was in Beck's backing band. There's tunes from some of his influences including The Beach Boys, Kiss, Yes, 10cc and XTC. Beth's Bop Of The Week is a new tune from Christian Love! Jammin' James Riley has a song from The Halibuts in Hang Ten. There's also a cover of a Jellyfish tune from McFly as well.

Brady Seals "Focus Beam" on Boppin' With Beth 03-29-24

 

American country artist Brady Seals is the "focus beam" artist on this new episode of Boppin' With Beth. Hear about his career, his time in bands including Little Texas, Hot Apple Pie (including a full song of theirs) and others and a couple of solo tunes from his discography. There's tunes from some of his influences including Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis Presley, Dobie Gray, Tom Petty and family members, Dan Seals of England Dan & John Ford Coley, Shenandoah (with cousin Jim Seales), Jim Seals of Seals & Crofts and Troy Seals.
