American "country soul" singer & songwriter Arthur Alexander is this week's "focus beam" artist. We hear from some of his influences like Billy Ward & The Dominoes, Clyde McPhatter, Nat King Cole, Big Maybelle and some that he influenced including The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Bob Dylan and Donnie Fritts. Of course in addition to hearing all about his career, there's a couple of great tunes from his catalog as well.
